We require a Team Manager to lead the Building Services team in our Reading Office based in Theale.
The principal responsibilities for the team leader - building services role will be project engineering, resource management, marketing, client relationships and satisfaction, team development and mentoring, commercial management and working within an agreed set of financial criteria.
Applicants must have strong engineering and construction industry knowledge to enable them to technically mentor and coach the engineering team, and be able to develop strong working relationships with clients and other members of the project team which would lead to a high level of client satisfaction.
Candidates must also have a detailed working knowledge of the construction industry Health and Safety CDM legislation and the relevant responsibilities of the designer.
Key requirements for the team leader - building services role are:
* CEng status - most probably IMechE or CIBSE
* Accredited low carbon consultant
* Excellent IT skills including MS Office
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Experience of computer aided design packages including IES and Hevacomp
* Be able to display an aptitude for finding practial solutions to problems
* A genuine interest in sustainability and renewable technology
* Attention to detail and commitment to provision of an excellent level of service.
The successful candidate will be capable of promoting a positive results driven culture within the team and be able to adapt to and implement change; lead the production of options studies and concepts through to detail designs and strategies for low energy and low carbon buildings; and lead the project Quality Management process within the team. |
