| JOB TITLE:
Security Systems Installations Engineer
REPORTING TO:
Project Manager
MAIN FUNCTION OF THE ROLE:
- New Installs of the following systems
• Access Control,
• CCTV,
• Door Entry,
• Intruder Alarm
• Fire
• Integrated Systems
• Satellite systems.
KEY RESULT AREAS:
1. You will be responsible for the Installations of security products
2. Be expected to cover the London Region within the M25
3. Will be working on high end CCTV, Access Control, Door Entry and Intruder Alarm Contracts
4. Responsible for equipment that is placed within your care
5. Consistently provide all customers with the highest standards of systems service on time, in the most professional manner
6. Be willing to learn and develop
7. Be a team player who can work unsupervised at times
8. May be required to coach junior engineers
Training & Support
The successful candidate will receive the following training where necessary:-
On going Product Training
Development as an individual
Ongoing Management Support and Coaching
OTHER DUTIES:
As directed by Project Manager and Managing Director
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:
• Hold an electrical qualification equivalent to NVQ level 3
• Have an electrical background
• Have experience working for an NSI, NACOSS approved company and be able to work to British Standards.
• Worked in the Security Industry for at least three years
• Hold extensive product knowledge and worked with:
CCTV
JVC, Phillips, Panasonic, Baxall and Sony
Access Control
HID, Northern, Scantronic, TDSI, Paxton and Cotag
Door Entry
BPT, Firmax
Intruder
Scantronic, Galaxy, Menvier
• Hold a valid UK driving licence
• Pass 10yr security clearance
