Job Title: Bid Development Manager
Description
Due to continued growth and expansion, a well-established Electrical Contractor now has an opportunity for an experienced Bid/Marketing Coordinator to join their team. Objective: The main purpose of the role will be to oversee the contract procurement process from pre-qualification questionnaires (PQQ’s) through to tender. Key Responsibilities: · Manage the contract procurement process from pre-qualification questionnaires (PQQ’s) through to tender · Deliver bid writing process and add value to submitted proposals · Co-ordinate sections of business that contribute to bids and proposals · Manage the new business pipeline · Research tender opportunities · Develop external publications and ensure website is current and maintained · Develop relationships with new and existing clients and gathering sector intelligence · You must have experience of writing and managing bids for the public sector (local authorities) Requirements: · Marketing/Bid Writing Experience essential · Strong technical writing capabilities · Knowledge of and experience in the electrical industry (preferred) and writing bids for the public sector i.e. local authorities (essential) · Must have a keen eye for detail and meticulous proof-reading and communication skills both written and verbal · Good time management skills, ensuring that deadlines are met and arranging your own workload · Good working knowledge of Word/Excel/Outlook · Be highly organised, with the ability to work to tight deadlines If you feel suited to the above and would like to work in a busy, yet friendly environment, please apply to The Recruitment Team at Swordfish Resourcing with an updated copy of your CV
