General Description
Be the Financial Services Sector Leader for my client's Project Management Be capable of managing a number of client accounts and be credible in the Sector. Able to take on responsibility for growing a business with a current turnover of c£3M to a £5M business within 12months.
Person Specification and Experience
• Degree qualified in architecture, engineering, construction management or quantity surveying.
• Chartered status in architecture, engineering, quantity surveying or building.
• Demonstrable track record in developing business and selling consultancy services in this sector from ‘cold leads’ and leveraging such opportunities into substantial financial turnover.
• To have a significant business/client network in the commercial sector.
• Demonstrated leadership with a direct report team and ability to win new business and manage it.
• Demonstrable track record in developing and maintaining client relationships
• Experienced at reporting to project boards and at board level in client organisations.
• The ability to manage competing resource demands and effective working.
• An ability to prevent conflicts and associated problems from arising.
• An interest in advising and mentoring associates and other senior staff.
• Demonstrable experience of taking responsibility for teams delivering multiple projects with multiple clients.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills with the ability to adopt both a professional and commercial approach.
• Be a ‘proactive self-starter’, resourceful, flexible and able to adapt readily to change.
• Self motivated.
• Prepared to ‘get into the detail’ if that is what the project demands
• Highly presentable with the ability to gain trust and respect.
• High degree of integrity and enthusiasm.
• Keep line manager informed about key issues
