| The company is a distinguished multi -disciplinary engineering consultancy with particular emphasis on structural and civil engineering. They are a medium sized company with locations across of the UK and a good name in the industry to match. They are very quality driven and as such only recruit the very best, they also have a very low turnover of staff. They are currently expanding in the energy and rail markets sectors hence this opportunity.
A superb opportunity has arisen for a Technical Director and the key tasks will include Business Development and management of both staff and projects
In terms of the candidate required the key attributes will include:
- Having extensive experience in civil engineering consultancy services with a particular focus on the Energy sector
- Experience in the Rail sector will also be an advantage
- Chartered status is preferred
- The Technical Director will also need to have excellent client facing skills and expectation of developing new work streams and clients is a key part of the role
- High level of technical knowledge and understanding is also required
In terms of salary the company will pay around the £60k mark depending on experience and ability - this is a senior role within the Civils team and excellent career opportunities are available for the right candidate, with the potential for promotion to Director level.
